what does it mean to be "born again?"

The Lord Lives Inside Us, And He Leads Us
This is what it means to "born again."

When we truly accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we surrender ourselves to Him. Then, by our invitation, His Holy Spirit enters us and lives inside us, guiding us and leading us in all things. When this happens, we are "born again," and we become a new person in Jesus Christ. 


              "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another
               Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even
               (which is) the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot
               receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but
               ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in
               you." (John 14:16-17 KJV)

  "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and
   open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he
   with me." (Revelation 3:20 KJV)
  "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit Of
   God dwelleth in you?" (1 Corinthians 3:16 KJV)
  "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me,
   and I in you." (John 14:20 KJV)
  "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because
   greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."
   (1 John 4:4 KJV)
                          Being Born Again

       Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
       Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
       John 3:7 (KJV)
       Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
       1 Peter 1:23 (KJV)
       Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
       by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

This is just as God had said He would do, according to the prophet Ezekiel in the Old Testament.

   statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."
