Online information is wonderful, and I never want to be without it. But there is one big drawback to it: as soon as you click away from it, or turn your computer off, it is gone. "Ephemeral," as they say. Vanishes like a cloud. Sure, you can print things out, but what's the big advantage of printing hundreds of pages all the time, if you don't really need to do it?
