Every person has the freedom to believe what he wants to believe and to follow whatever path in life he wants to follow. Some paths lead to happiness and joy forever, others lead to misery and torment.
These are some specific rules God has laid down for us to follow, consistent with his One Law, "Love all people as yourself." These rules are for our own good, not for His amusement. They are not difficult to follow. They apply to all people, at all times, in all places. If you follow these rules, you will never go far wrong. If you ignore these rules or deliberately disobey them, you bring nothing but trouble onto yourself.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS - Restated For The Gentiles
1. "Do not put anything ahead of God your Creator."
2. "Do not make or worship idols."
3. "Do not take the name of God in vain."
4. "Take one day of complete rest each week."
5. "Honor your father and your mother."
6. "Do not commit murder."
7. "Do not commit adultery."
8. "Do not steal."
9. "Do not tell lies against anyone."
10. "Do not covet other people's possessions."

The Natural Law For Marriage, Divorce, And Sex
Dear Readers,
I am writing this letter against my will, but the Lord is insisting
that I do it, so I am doing it. This is the Natural Law regarding
marriage, divorce, and sex, as it applies to Western society today.
Christians will recall that God created the Natural Law and wrote it
onto the hearts of man.
The Natural Law - (Romans 2:14-16 RSV)
_____________________________________________________________
14
When Gentiles who have not the law do by nature what the
law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though
they do not have the law.
15
They show that what the law requires is written on their
hearts, while their conscience also bears witness and
their conflicting thoughts accuse or perhaps excuse them
16
on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the
secrets of men by Christ Jesus.
_____________________________________________________________
<><
This, then, is the Natural Law regarding marriage, divorce, and sex.
There is more to it than is given here, but this will be enough to
begin. Basically, I am taking dictation from God, and this is what He
says:
The Nature Of Marriage
Marriage is the normal intended state for most adults. "Marriage" is
the relationship between one man and one women in which their two
bodies become as one flesh, through voluntary sexual intercourse; and
all other partners in sexual activity are henceforth excluded, by
mutual agreement.
"Sexual intercourse" is penetration of the vagina by the penis.
"Sexual activity" is any activity which includes sexual
gratification.
Establishment Of Marriage
The marriage relationship is established when both parties freely
agree to an exclusive sexual relationship with each other and
consummate it with sexual intercourse. Without voluntary agreement
there is no marriage. And without sexual consummation, there is no
marriage. Both elements are necessary. No ceremony is required: merely
agreement and consummation.
Duration Of Marriage
Once established, the marriage relationship continues until it is
broken by death, by mutual consent, or by extreme violation of the
one-flesh relationship.
When either partner dies, the relationship is broken, and the
surviving partner is free to marry again.
When both parties, by mutual consent, agree to terminate the marriage
and have no further sexual intercourse with each other, the
relationship is broken. Both are then free to marry again. Just as
voluntary agreement with sexual intercourse establishes the marriage
relationship, so also voluntary agreement without sexual intercourse
breaks the marriage relationship.
One party may terminate the marriage relationship without the consent
of the other party only if there has been extreme violation of the
one-flesh relationship by the other party. The most glaring and
extreme sexual violation is adultery, which is sexual intercourse by a
married person with some person other than the spouse. Another kind of
extreme violation would be if one party deliberately and repeatedly
inflicted harm on the other, in a way that he surely would not do to
himself.
In general, God opposes the termination of marriages. The greatest
single cause of divorce is sexual activity outside the marriage. If
you look deeply enough in almost any divorce, you will find the
disruptive influence of an outside partner in sexual activity. Perhaps
there are a few exceptions to this rule, but not many. Therefore all
such activity is prohibited, particularly adultery, which is a major
offense against God.
Sexual Activity For Those Who Are Not Married
Sex is a natural, God-given part of life, just as eating and sleeping
are natural, God-given parts of life. The desire for physical release
through sexual orgasm is a natural desire, like hunger or thirst. Some
people feel sexual desire more strongly than others, and those to whom
God has given strong sexual desires must not be judged or condemned by
those whose desires are weaker.
God provides for all our needs, including our need for sexual release.
His preferred method for dealing with sexual need is marriage, as
described above.
Nevertheless, people who are not married are also entitled to sexual
release, without guilt or shame.
There are different degrees of sexual intimacy which unmarried people
might experience with each other, from simple kissing to the various
forms of sex leading to orgasm. Sexual intercourse is reserved for
married people alone. Any other sexual activity between unmarried
persons should be governed by the rule," The closer you are to being
married, the greater intimacy you are permitted." Sexual orgasms bond
people closer to each other, leading the unmarried toward marriage and
strengthening the bond which already exists between those who are
married. Therefore sexual activity involving orgasm should be confined
to the one person with whom you are seeking a long-term marital bond.
Thus, sexual promiscuity, or "playing the harlot," is forbidden.
Certain kinds of sexual activity are simply not permitted, and these
are sex in any form with a person of the same sex, with an animal, or
with a close relative. Rape is forbidden, and also any adult sexual
activity with persons below the minimum age for marriage.
God has provided one method of sexual release, acceptable for all
people, and that is private solo masturbation. If you do not have a
married spouse or other acceptable sexual partner available to you,
you always have your own hand. There is no Scriptural prohibition
whatsoever against private solo masturbation. In fact, it can even be
a form of worship, as we give thanks to God for our bodies and for the
wonderful feelings He allows us to have.
"For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be
rejected if it is received with thanksgiving;" (1 Timothy 4:4 RSV)
<><
Children
Since sexual intercourse is reserved for married couples only, then
conception and childbearing should occur only among married couples.
From the moment of conception, the children are the joint
responsibility of the husband and the wife. Husband and wife have
equal rights in the children, and equal responsibilities toward them.
In the event of divorce, those rights and responsibilities need to be
allocated somehow, since the children will no longer be able to live
normally with both parents. This is one major reason why God opposes
divorce: it usually creates great difficulties and complications for
the children.
-----------------------------------------------------
If the Lord is willing, He will direct me to write more on these
subjects in the future. For now, this is all He is giving to me to
share with you.
Blessings to you in Jesus Christ our Lord.

THE TWENTY-ONE GREATEST IDEAS IN HUMAN RELATIONS -
THE MOST IMPORTANT SINGLE THING -
"So tell your baby sister
Not to do what I have done.
Don't spend your life in sin and misery
At the House Of The Rising Sun."
1. IF YOU ARE A CHILD, MIND YOUR PARENTS, STAY OUT OF TROUBLE, AND
LEARN EVERYTHING YOU CAN IN SCHOOL. There is plenty of time for
adventure after you leave home and are out on your own. Don't make an
early
stupid mistake and mess up your whole life.
2. AVOID TROUBLE WITH THE LAW, AND AVOID PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE LAW. When you see police cars at somebody's house, don't hang around with the people in that house. It's a good idea to keep at least two layers of separation between yourself and the police. Don't get into trouble with the law yourself, and don't associate with people who do. "Like attracts like," so don't hang around with people who attract trouble, or else you will get sucked into it, too.
3. AVOID "PROBLEM SEX," THE KINDS OF SEXUAL ACTIVITIES WHICH ARE KNOWN TO CAUSE PROBLEMS. Specifically, no sex of any kind with people who are married to or living with (sexually) someone else. This can mess up lives and get people killed. No sex with close relatives, first cousins or closer. No sex with animals. No sex which might result in an unwanted pregnancy. No anal sex with anyone - it's always dangerous. No sex of any sort which is against the law and might get you prosecuted. No sex which will mess up your mind in any way, which for most people includes most kinds of same-sex sexual activity. No forced sex of any kind, against somebody's will. No sex of any kind which you believe might cause problems for you or someone else in the future. Also recognize that private masturbation is not a sin. For more detail, please see The Natural Law For Marriage, Divorce, And Sex and A Study Of Christian Sexuality.
4. DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO HAVE ANY BITTER ENEMIES. No matter what may happen, do not allow yourself to have any bitter enemies. You must not bitterly hate anyone else, and you must do everything you can possible do to avoid having anyone hate you bitterly. Any kind of hatred is a bad idea, in fact. But bitter enemies are nothing but trouble, major trouble! Look at the terrible example set by the Israelis vs. the Palestinians, and by extension all Jews vs. all Muslims. Both sides are totally lost, buried in hatred and far removed from God. Each side deceives itself by thinking God is with them; but He has turned His back on both of them, because of the hardness of their hearts. And their endless provocations and retaliations guarantee that their fighting will never cease. Normal human beings must never permit such Satanic hatred in their lives! Don't let it happen to you!

PUT GOD FIRST - ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST - LOVE ALL PEOPLE AS YOURSELF
FOLLOW THE GOLDEN RULE - FORGIVE EVERYONE - DON'T JUDGE ANYONE
By Rev. Bill McGinnis, Pastor - InternetChurchOfChrist.org
This is the "Doctrine Of Radical Christian Love" in its clearest, simplest form. If you accept this doctrine and live by it, (1) You will be pleasing and acceptable to God; (2) You will have a blessed life here on earth as a citizen of the Kingdom Of God; and (3) You will go to Heaven when you die. This is the true "straight and narrow path" spoken of in the Bible. If anyone is misled by this doctrine, I pray that God will punish me instead of them for any sins they may commit because of it.
Rev. Bill McGinnis <><
Disciple Of Christ
1. PUT GOD FIRST IN YOUR LIFE.
He is your Creator, and the Creator all things. As Creator, He is the ultimate owner of you and everything else in the universe. As Creator, He is the highest legitimate authority over you and everything else in the universe. As your Creator, He is entitled to your highest love, your highest honor, your highest respect - the best of everything you have to give.
_____________________________________________________________
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
(Genesis 1:1 RSV)
_____________________________________________________________
2. ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR OWN PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR.
Recognize Him publicly as Son of God, risen from the dead, your own personal Lord and Savior. Invite Him into your heart to rule, and follow the promptings of His Holy Spirit, Who will now be dwelling within you.
_____________________________________________________________
"because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and
believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will
be saved." (Romans 10:9 RSV)

The most important single thing you can do in your life is to establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, in which He is your personal Lord and Saviour, and you are His trusting follower. If you do this one thing, you will find joy and happiness now and forever. If you do not do this one thing, you will continue to deprive yourself of the many blessings God has intended for you to receive. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, you can do so now by clicking HERE! This is the traditional Protestant way to accept Jesus and become a Christian.
HOWEVER: There is a more direct and more powerful way, and that is by giving yourself totally and completely to Him, using the prayer below:
A VERY POWERFUL PRAYER, GIVING YOURSELF TO JESUS
If you want to do this now, here are the words you can use: Of course,
you must agree with these words and say them sincerely, as from yourself.
Be consciously aware that you are seeking Him, trying and intending to
speak directly to Him. Don't say these words to Him unless you mean them.
"Lord Jesus, I give myself to You, for You to be my only Lord and
Master. I renounce and repudiate all other loyalties, and
I desire no other Lord but You. Please come into me and
take control of my life. Mold me to Your will and to Your
use. I ask that You drive out all other spirits which conflict
with You in any way. I want to belong only to You, to be subject
only to You. I make this prayer to You, in Your name, the name of
Jesus. Amen."
These words have been tested in real life, and they DO WORK!
If you truly mean these words sincerely, you will not need to
repeat them very many times before you will have a dramatic reaction!
The Lord Jesus WILL accept you, and He will enter into you and
take control of your life.
Get ready, for it will happen to you!
"Seek, and ye shall find; ask, and ye shall receive."

3. LOVE ALL PEOPLE AS YOURSELF, WHICH IS THE FULL MEANING OF "LOVE
YOUR
NEIGHBOR AS
YOURSELF." (THIS IS SOMETIMES CALLED "THE LAW OF LOVE")
Understand that "your neighbor" includes all people everywhere, as shown by the Parable Of The Good Samaritan. For most people, this is impossible to do without the Holy Spirit dwelling inside them. This is radical Christian love: counting the other person's happiness and well-being the same as your own. This means that in every situation, you must consider the needs of others as equal in importance to your own needs. "You have food, they do not. You are hungry, they are hungry. You must share." Simple as that.
If we truly love our neighbor as ourself, we have fulfilled all of God's requirements for us.
Love For Neighbor Fulfills All Of God's Requirements For Us
---------------------------------------------------------------
Galatians 5:14 (RSV)
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, "You shall love your
neighbor as yourself."
Romans 13:8 (RSV)
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves
his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:9 (RSV)
The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not
kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other
commandment, are summed up in this sentence, "You shall love your
neighbor as yourself."
Romans 13:10 (RSV)
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling
of the law.
James 2:8 (RSV)
If you really fulfil the royal law, according to the scripture,
"You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well.
---------------------------------------------------------------
God counts our love for others as love for Himself. So when we give love
to our neighbor, we are actually giving love to God
Himself.
"And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as
you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you
did it to me.'" (Matthew 25:40 RSV)
NOTE: IF YOU TRULY LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR, you will not lie about him,
steal from him, murder him, have sex with his spouse, or desire to take
over
his
possessions - all of which are prohibited by the traditional
Ten Commandments.
4. FOLLOW THE GOLDEN RULE, WHICH IS, "TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED." The Golden Rule puts The Law Of Love into practice.
_____________________________________________________________
"So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for
this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12 RSV)
_____________________________________________________________
For more about the Golden Rule, please click HERE!
Also recognize that What You Do Comes Back To You.
5. FORGIVE EVERYONE, ALL THE TIME, FOR ALL THEIR OFFENSES AGAINST
YOU.
Only then can God freely forgive you of all your offenses against Him. Even if they don't repent, forgive them anyway. Even if they intend to do it again, forgive them anyway.
"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
Father also will forgive you; but if you do not forgive men
their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your
trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15 RSV)
For more about Forgiveness, please click HERE!
6. DON'T JUDGE ANYONE, EVEN IF THEY ARE CLEARLY WRONG.
Judgment belongs only to God. You are wrong yourself, in many things. Be sure of it, no matter how righteous you may think you are. Each person is responsible for his own life, and each person will be judged by God for his own actions. You may advise others. You may teach others. You may share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. But you may not judge them in any way for any thing. They don't belong to you; you are not entitled to judge them. You may be a guide and an inspiration to them. But you may not be a judge. God gives people what He wants them to have, even some evil desires and practices. God has His own reasons for everything He does, even if we do not always understand them. Our job is to love others, not to judge them.
"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you
pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be
the measure you get." (Matthew 7:1-2 RSV)
<><
Some sincere Christians might oppose this doctrine because they consider it to be a "license to sin." In their view, I should be teaching the need for sexual purity, mortification of the flesh, denial of the self, perhaps tithing, and various other traditional requirements of Christianity.
I love these people, and I respect their understanding of God's Holy Word. Nevertheless, I disagree with them, and I believe that the strongest Scriptures clearly support the Doctrine Of Radical Christian Love, as I have shown above.
But even if this doctrine is wrong, and you do sin because of it, your sins are covered or forgiven because of your love and forgiveness toward others.
"Above all hold unfailing your love for one another, since love
covers a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8 RSV)
"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
Father also will forgive you; but if you do not forgive men
their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your
trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15 RSV)
To those who have ears to hear, let them hear.
Blessings to you in Jesus Christ our Lord. May the Lord God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, richly bless you and all who read these words. May He guide you, protect you, comfort you, provide for you, and lead you in all things. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

This is "The Law Of Love," God's most important commandment for all mankind.
___________________________________________________________
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, "You shall love your
neighbor as yourself." (Galatians 5:14 RSV)
_____________________________________________________________
This is the starting point, the Scriptural Imperative given many times in the Bible. (See also Matthew 22:39, Mark 12:31, Luke 10:27, Romans 13:8-10, James 2:8, 1 Peter 4:8.)
And who is our neighbor? Every other person is our neighbor. (See Luke 10:29-37 for Jesus' answer to that same question.)
But sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we still don't like the other person very much, or we still feel anger or resentment. What can we do in cases like this ?
The most troublesome harmful emotion is the emotion of anger. You can neutralize anger by making a direct conscious decision to forgive the other person for whatever he may have done to cause you to feel anger toward him.
("As you forgive, so you will be forgiven." See Matthew 6:14-15)
This the "The Golden Rule," our most important guideline for dealing with other people.
_____________________________________________________________
"So whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them; for
this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12 RSV)
_____________________________________________________________
This is the most important rule in human relations. You can
apply this rule to almost any situation, and you will not be far
wrong. The Golden Rule puts The Law Of Love into action.
******************************************************* <><
The remaining eighteen ideas are specific applications of The Golden Rule to different kinds of situations.
You like it when people smile at you and behave in a friendly way. So do the same to them.
You like it when people are courteous to you. And you dislike it when people are discourteous or rude to you. So be courteous in all of your dealings with others.
You like it when other people remember and use your name. So do the same for them.
Arguments are very negative. They poison good human relations. You don't like it when someone argues with you. So don't argue with them. And if you see an argument coming, take the appropriate steps to neutralize the argument before it causes too much damage.
Relationships are much better when both people focus on their areas of agreement rather than their areas of disagreement.
Most people agree on more things than they disagree on. So if you focus on your areas of agreement with the other person, your areas of disagreement will seem smaller and less important.
Criticism builds hostility and bad attitudes. Criticism is poison to good human relations.
You don't like to be criticized; so don't criticize other people. They don't like it, either. And you won't help accomplish anything good by criticizing.
As your mother should have taught you, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."
You like it when other people take the time and interest to recognize and appreciate the good things you do. So do the same for them. Everyone does some things worthy of appreciation. Find them, and recognize them in the other person.
You like it when the other person understands your point of view and can see problems the way you see them. So do the same for him. Try looking at the situation from the other person's point of view.
You like it when people pay full attention to you when you are talking. So do the same for them.
You like to have other people talk with you about your interests. So do the same for them. Find out what things they are interested in, and steer the conversation toward these things.
This idea is surprisingly powerful and useful!
Here's what to say, whenever there is a disagreement as to a matter of fact: "Now, I may be wrong about this. I frequently am wrong about things. But this is the way it appears to me:" (And then state your beliefs.)
By admitting you may be wrong, and by admitting that you frequently are wrong (You are, you know. We all are.), you almost force the other person to admit that he, too, may be wrong! Then, with your egos out of the way, you can both search objectively for the truth!
And if you really are wrong this time, it will be much less embarrassing for you than if you had been stubbornly insisting that you were totally right!
You like it when people let you do most of the talking. So do the same for them. It won't hurt you, and you might learn something.
You like to talk about yourself, don't you? We all like to talk about ourselves! But restrain the urge, and let the other person talk about himself, instead.
If something has worked out well, don't grab all the credit for yourself, even if you think you deserve it all. Spread the credit around, share it with the other people involved.
The expression "saving face" means to maintain dignity, or not to look like an idiot or a worthless person. Sometimes people do things which make them look like an idiot or a worthless person. If you can rescue the other person in such a situation, and help him maintain his dignity, you have done a very good thing.
And maybe someone will do the same for you some day, when you need it most! "As you do, so shall it be done unto you."
People tend to live up to the expectations others have of them. If you expect a lot from someone, he tends to give you what you expect. Likewise, if you expect little from someone, that is what you tend to get.
So act honestly, and expect honesty from the other person; act morally, and expect morality from the other person; act fairly, and expect fairness from the other person.
You are pleasantly surprised when other people do more for you than you had asked, or more than you expect. So do the same for them: "Go the extra mile."
