Our Sixty-Six Book Protestant Bible Is The Authentic Word Of God, Complete, And Sufficient For All Our Needs

All Scripture comes from God. All Scripture together is sufficient for all our spiritual needs.
             2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17 (KJV)

             16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
                    for instruction in righteousness:
             17
That the man of God may be perfect (complete),
throughly furnished unto all good works.
Jesus teaches us to live by "every word" that comes from the mouth of God, that is, by all Scriptures, not just some of them.
"But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not
live by bread alone, by by every word that proceedeth
out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4 KJV)
"And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and
fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither
did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know
that man doth not live by bread only, but by every
word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD
doth man live." (Deuteronomy 8:3 KJV)
                                   <><
The Old Testament Scriptures which Jesus used are all contained in our Bible today, translated from the authentic "Masoretic Text" of the Jews.

Jesus said that His words were life itself. And where are His words found? In the Bible, in the New Testament!

"It is the spirit that quickeneth (gives life); the flesh
profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they
are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63 KJV
Jesus said that God will send the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) to us and that the Holy Spirit will help us to remember and understand everything that Jesus has said. And where can we find these things that Jesus has said? In the Bible, in the New Testament!
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all
things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you." (John 14:26 KJV)
Jesus Himself did not deliver all of His teachings while He was here on Earth. He saved some of His teachings for Paul and the other apostles to give to us in their letters.
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot
bear them now." (John 16:12 KJV)
And where can these other teachings be found? In the Bible, in the New Testament!

But how do we really know that the Bible contains all the true Scriptures, no more, no less? Maybe some were left out. Or maybe some were included which should have been left out.

The answer to this question is found in Genesis, the very first book of the Bible, written thousands of years before the Bible was completed.

Genesis, chapter forty-six, describes the migration of Jacob (Israel) and his family into Egypt, naming each person. Verse twenty-six gives a numerical summary.

"All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of
his loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls were
threescore and six (sixty-six);" (Genesis 46:26 KJV)
Here now is the meaning of this Scripture: Jacob (Israel) represents God. These sixty-six people who "came out of his loins" represent the sixty-six books of the Bible. Their act of moving into Egypt represents God and His Word, the Bible, moving into the non-Jewish world.

Thus Genesis 46:26 in combination with 2 Timothy 3:16-17, confirms that the sixty-six book (Protestant) Bible is the complete word of God, sufficient for all our spiritual needs.
