For Cheerfulness

I pray for you today that you be cheerful,
With head held high and sparkle in your eye;
With warmth of smile, and voice that holds no anger;
With quickened step, and purpose in your stride.
I pray the Lord will look on you with pleasure,
As parents look upon a cheerful child.
In Jesus' name I pray for you, Amen.
