Send A Poem And A Prayer

As Christians, we are called to share and participate in the happiness and the sadness of others.

        "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep
         with them that weep." (Romans 12:15 KJV)

It would actually be a good idea for every Christian to start a collection of poems and prayers to use in such occasions. (Maybe even write some yourself, if He leads you to do this.)

Here is a good example of a prayer/poem to send to someone who is unhappy:

                     "When All Seems Bleak And Dreary"
              
                 When all seems bleak and dreary in your life;
                 When every step is weighted down with care;
                 When each new day seems like the day before it;
                 I pray the Lord will brighten up your sky.
                 
                 I pray He sends a robin to your birdbath;
                 I pray He brings a package to your door;
                 I pray you get a phone call from a loved one;
                 I pray the Lord, Himself, will sing to you.
