To Reunite With Those Who Are Estranged

NOTE: When you read this prayer, try to imagine hearing my voice as I speak
it to you.  In this way, the prayer is reactivated, and it is the same
as if I were actually praying for you at that moment.
(Just like television prayers are reactivated when you watch 
them, although the videotape may have been shot years before.)

               "To Reunite With Those Who Are Estranged"

              It seems to happen more and more these days
              That loved ones choose to go their separate ways;
              That married partners break themselves apart,
              That children and their parents are estranged.
              So if you count yourself as one of those
              Who finds himself estranged from those he loves,
              I pray the Lord will help you in your need:
                    
              I pray that He will open up the hearts
              Of those with whom you wish to reunite.
              I pray that He will fill them with His love
              So they can grant forgiveness now to you
              For whatsoever things they hold a grudge.
              I also pray the Lord will come to you
              So you can grant forgiveness now to them.
              And then I pray that you will reunite.
              In Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.
